Chairman Sava Perovic Foundation & Chairman Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons Section (ESGURS) of European Association of Urology (EAU)

Reconstructive Surgeon Rados P. Djinovic (Doktor Radoš Đinović) was born in Prokuplje, a town in south-central Serbia with a population of about 50,000 which was incorporated into the Kingdom of Serbia in 1878 and is the administrative center of Toplica District. He grew up in nearby Kuršumlija but currently lives in Belgrade with his wife, two sons and young daughter. He is fluent in Serbian, English and Russian.

The medical specialty of Dr Djinovic (JIN-O-VICH) is General and Urogenital Reconstructive Surgery. He currently serves as Chairman of the Sava Perovic Foundation and leader of it's surgical team.

Only in his mid-forties, he is already one of the premier urogenital reconstructive surgeons currently practicing medicine.

One of Dr Djinovic's outstanding recent honors was being chosen by his peers in 2015 to be Chairman of the European Association of Urology’s (EAU) Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons Section (ESGURS). The EAU is the largest urology association in the world with more than 10000 members in more than 100 countries.

Rados Djinovic's foremost accomplishment was saving the Sava Perovic Art of urological surgery after the death of the preeminent Professor. Six years mastering the art with Dr Perovic and five more years continually developing, expanding and advancing it has clearly shown the art gets supreme surgical results for patients.

Radoš graduated a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine in January 1999. He did his Internship and clinical training from March 1999 to March 2000 at the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade. His General Surgery Residency from April 2000 to June 2005 was back at Professor Perovic's University of Belgrade School of Medicine.

Prior to becoming a permanent member of the Perovic Surgical Team and Dr Perovic's right hand man, Dr Djinovic had prepared for a lucrative career in the USA. He had earned his Certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in February 2003.

In January of that year he had passed the ECFMG Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA) which evaluates ability to gather & interpret clinical patient data & communicate effectively in the English language.

In 2002, he had already also passed with good scores both Step 1 and Step 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards and the National Board of Medical Examiners.

• USMLE Step 2 (Clinical Knowledge & Clinical Skills) Passed 11/2002 | Score - 83 (current equivalent 204, minimum passing score 189)

By August 2002, he had passed the ECFMG TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

However, in early 2003 Dr Djinovic traded his plans to move to the United States (and his “Green Card”) in exchange for the priceless opportunity of a lifetime — personal hands-on surgery training in the very latest and most advanced surgical procedures and surgical techniques by Professor Sava V Perovic, the best surgeon in Serbia's history and the man widely recognized by experts as the leading urological surgeon of our time.

In March 2015, the European Association of Urology (EAU) made Dr Djinovic Chairman of it's Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons Section (ESGURS).

Those eight years of surgical training with Dr Perovic not only made Rados one of the world's leading reconstructive surgeons at a young age, it also preserved the Sava Perovic legacy and the Professor's famous “Tips & Tricks” developed while performing more than 20,000 surgical procedures over a remarkable 37-year career.

The seven years of performing surgery at a prodigious rate before joining Sava Perovic in addition to the eight years of performing numerous, complex and challenging urogenital surgery every day with Professor Perovic gives Dr Djinovic 15 years of performing a tremendous range of reconstructive surgeries at an almost overwhelming rate.

Slightly over 40, he has already done more surgical procedures and a wider range of surgeries than many surgeons do in their lifelong career. Invited Surgeon for Live Surgery

In highly specialized fields of medicine such as urology, urogenital surgery, andrology and reconstructive surgery, perhaps the only honor and sign of respect greater than being invited to lecture to peers at prestigious meetings is to be invited to actually perform live surgery training in order for colleagues to get the surgical training in advanced techniques by watching it being done real time. Invited Surgeon for Live Surgery Training with Sava Perovic

During the last six years of Professor Sava Perovic's life, Dr Djinovic was invited to perfom live surgery training with Dr Perovic at 57 congresses, symposiums, meetings, universities, hospitals, institutes and workshops. Invariably, the operation training was the longest, most difficult and most challenging which no other surgical specialists wanted to do.

This was particularly true for hypospadias which now afflicts 1 out of 300 children and for which there are more than 300 surgical procedures and variations of surgical techniques. For adults who got bad hypospadias repair as a child or none at all and who are unable get surgical intervention hypospadias treatment by any pediatric clinic or pediatric department, the opportunity to get surgery by Dr Perovic and Dr Djinovic was a great blessing because they had a 100% success rate for adults — and that rate continues as of late August 2010.
